Prenatal Care & Postnatal Recovery
Bringing a new life into the world is the ultimate Labor of Love. In 2018, Claire completed her certification as a Pre and Postnatal Pilates Specialist as well as a certified teacher of The Center Method for Diastasis Recti Recovery. In 2023, Claire and Markus welcomed their baby boy into the world, solidifying her passion and understanding of the extreme importance of Pre- and Post-natal education for all women. Come in to learn about your body during and after pregnancy, and how to feel your best throughout. Every pregnancy and every Momma's experience is different. Each session will be specifically designed to meet your unique needs.
Prenatal Care
You can do this! Learn how to relax and enjoy your pregnancy, as well as lose fear and gain trust in your body through pregnancy and birth. Preparing your body is key to a better postpartum recovery. Learn about anatomy and physiology, posture and breathing, and many other tools to help you feel your best as you do the most amazing thing you'll ever do... create life!
Postnatal Recovery
Postpartum is no joke. While exercise and preparation during pregnancy is important, learning how to rehabilitate after birth is essential. Learn how to restore and reconnect to your body which has just has gone through a tremendous change, not to mention hormone fluctuations, lack of sleep and little time for self-care. Our program starts small and builds, making it possible for all mom's to do and to avoid big problems later in life! Every birth is unique and every program will be unique to your experience as well.
Aftercare
We know that not all women have had access to pre- and post-natal education during their pregnancy. This is heartbreaking but true for the majority of women I encounter. Our AfterCare program is for the Postnatal woman who is experiencing symptoms in the months or years postpartum... Back pain, urinary incontinence, core weakness, and/or misalignment just to name a few! Come in, reconnect to your body and take care of you. It will only make it easier to take care of those who need you.
Diastasis Recti Recovery
Sometimes during pregnancy the rectus abdominus muscle stretches to its limit and splits. Utilizing The Center Method for Diastasis Recti Recovery, I'm here to help. Sessions will emphasize breathwork, pelvic floor education, whole body movement and myofascial release techniques. Learn to release, realign and restore the core musculature.
